Will Lach attended the MCN (Museum Computer Network) 2020 Virtual Conference, held November 10-12 and 17-19. Eriksen was proud to serve as a sponsor of this event, which drew professionals from galleries, libraries, archives, and museums to explore the latest advances in museum technology through workshops, panel presentations, and vendor demonstrations.

On November 10, Eriksen attended the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization’s 2020 Virtual Breakthrough Breakfast. In addition to presentations and networking opportunities, the event recognized winners of the annual Done Deals Awards, celebrating the business deals completed between Women-Owned Businesses and WPEO Corporate Members and public sector participants.

On October 19-21, Will Lach served as a virtual exhibitor at the annual conference of the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC). The event brought together leading professionals from science museums, nature centers, aquariums, planetariums, zoos, and botanical gardens to examine the ways institutions can increase visitors’ engagement with science and technology.

Will Lach served as a digital exhibitor at the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse), held October 14-18. The fair hosts over 7,500 exhibitors and nearly 300,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, making it the world’s largest marketplace for content, rights, and services.

Zahra Massicotte attended the ASU+GSV Virtual Summit, held Sept 29-Oct 1 and Oct 7-8. Featuring the theme “The Dawn of the Age of Digital Learning,” the conference drew leaders in education from around the world to explore trends surrounding the future of learning and work.

The National Gallery of Art makes Artful Thinking available to everyone with their free online course Teaching Critical Thinking through Art. Eriksen was proud to translate the program into Spanish, French, and Simplified Chinese. Read more about this successful initiative in Forbes.

With its new exhibition, the Whitney Museum of American Art explores the overlooked influence of Mexican muralists on modern American art. Featuring nearly two hundred works by more than sixty artists, Vida Americana: Mexican Muralists Remake American Art, 1925-1945 is on view Feb 17-May 17, 2020. Eriksen was proud to support this exciting exhibition by translating the audio tour, catalog essay, and didactics into Spanish.

On January 29, Eriksen attended the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization’s (WPEO) annual Celebrating Our Partners reception. The annual event brings together Women-Owned Businesses with companies that are committed to working with diverse suppliers.
