Eriksen Translations was born in 1986 when founder Vigdis Eriksen turned her career as a Norwegian translator into a business. In a Brooklyn artist loft, equipped with a few typewriters and a passionate team of linguists, Vigdis founded a culture of excellence. Since then, it’s been one continuous evolution. Eriksen has diversified its capabilities, expanded into more than 100 languages, and embraced cutting-edge industry technology to support clients around the world. Today, the heart and soul of the company remains committed to a single principle: exceeding clients’ expectations with creativity, exacting standards, and willingness to learn.

Vigdis Eriksen

Founder & CEO

Driven by her passion for language, Vigdis Eriksen founded Eriksen Translations in 1986 and grew the company into one of the nation’s top language services providers.

Born in Norway, Vigdis studied English, French, Dutch, and German, along with her native Norwegian. She moved to New York in her 20s to pursue theater, but changed direction to work as a freelance translator. Recognizing the early potential of what would one day become a thriving industry, Vigdis launched her business, Eriksen Translations. Today, she guides the company’s strategic vision and oversees daily operations.

Vigdis is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), the American Translators Association, the Globalization & Localization Association, and the New York Circle of Translators. In 2014, she was honored as an International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge awardee at the organization’s annual conference in Stockholm, Sweden. Vigdis has been on the Inc. 5,000 list for six years, has won thirteen Women Presidents’ Educational Organization Done Deals Challenge awards, as well as a Business Owner’s Council award for Best Company Culture.

Under Vigdis’ leadership, Eriksen Translations is certified as a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the City and State of New York.

A tireless advocate for the protection of linguists, Vigdis is a founding board member and chair of Red T, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of translators and interpreters working in conflict zones. In her not-so-spare time, Vigdis enjoys travel, the arts, and the innumerable pleasures of life in New York City.

Kevin Hudson

Executive Vice President, Client Services

Kevin is a master at crafting the right solution for any client. As Executive Vice President, Client Services, Kevin uses his experience, drive, and strategic insights to build a client-focused organization that delivers high-quality results. In his role, Kevin oversees the client services team and supports the company’s growth and sustainability as a member of the senior leadership team.

With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Kevin began his career as a project manager and rose through the ranks to director of production and eventually managing director. He held key roles for companies including TransPerfect, LanguageWorks, and Ubiqus before joining the Eriksen team in 2018.

A lifelong musician, Kevin plays drums in several bands. He’s an avid record collector and sports fan who lives in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Murphy

Director of Marketing

As Eriksen’s marketing director, Jen wears many hats. By communicating the company’s story, brand, and capabilities, Jen helps the sales and client services teams engage prospects and develop new business. Jen writes and disseminates content to share our team’s extensive subject-matter expertise on topics that are of interest to our clients.

With degrees in fine arts and graphic and interactive design from Temple University and UC Berkeley Extension, Jen held a variety of marketing and communications roles in the fields of art, education, and architecture before joining the Eriksen team in 2013.

Jen loves to hike, bike, and practice yoga when she’s not out training for her next marathon or inside working on a painting or drawing.

Will Lach

Director of Sales

Will helps our partners find the best way to reach their multilingual audiences. As Director of Sales, he builds long-term relationships in the culture, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors.

Before coming to Eriksen, Will led creative teams for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, forged publishing partnerships for the American Museum of Natural History, and was editorial director at Abbeville Press. Today he oversees Eriksen’s sales and business development efforts.

A Brooklyn resident of more than 25 years, Will can be found in Prospect Park during off-leash hours and on his Kensington stoop after work.

Yasmin Menon

Director of Production

With a combination of strategic thinking, flair, and hard work, Yasmin brings out the best in her production team, fostering a collaborative culture that nurtures everyone’s strengths. She oversees production and ensures we approach all projects with planning, airtight processes, and the highest attention to detail.

Originally from New Delhi, Yasmin is fluent in Hindi and Urdu. Following a four-year stint in journalism and television production, she relocated to the U.S. and spent over twenty years immersed in the translation and localization industry. After working in every part of the business for companies such as LanguageWorks and Geneva Worldwide, Yasmin brought her expertise to the Eriksen team in 2018.

Yasmin spends her leisure time reading, watching movies, and taking long walks along the Hudson river with her poodle, who is aptly named Poodle.

Manny Maia

Director of Technology

Manny brings 35 years of experience to his role as director of technology, where he oversees the full scope of Eriksen’s technical operations. He works closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement an effective, secure information technology strategy and ensure the stability and efficiency of business functions.

Born and raised in Portugal, Manny immigrated to New Jersey in his teens. He studied computer engineering at Union County College and New Jersey Institute of Technology, and attained numerous certifications in Microsoft, AWS, and ITIL. After college, Manny provided technology support to companies in the life sciences space. Before joining Eriksen in 2021, Manny spent 22 years with a technology and data company where he was responsible for overseeing the management and modernization of information technology services and systems across the enterprise.

An avid sports fan, Manny loves watching soccer and attending his son’s games. When he’s not outside playing with his lively cockapoo Ozzy, Manny likes to spend time exploring the town and trying out new restaurants.

Marta Maj

Controller

As Eriksen’s financial wiz, Marta oversees the company’s accounting functions, payroll and benefits administration, and accounts payable and receivable.

Originally from Poland, Marta grew up learning English along with her native Polish. After moving to the U.S. and earning her bachelor’s degree in finance, she spent 10 years working for the accounting department of a language services provider. She learned the ins and outs of the position before bringing her expertise to Eriksen in 2018.

When she’s not in the office, Marta devotes her time to her family and enjoys swimming and working in the garden, growing flowers, vegetables, and herbs (basil – her favorite!).

Marcos Guzman

Senior Localization Engineer

Part of Eriksen’s Cordoba, Argentina team, Marcos knows how to find the right technological solutions to solve any problem. Eriksen’s production team enlists his expertise to customize workflows and develop accurate timelines and budgets for complex projects. Marcos manages translation databases and oversees the company’s localization tools to ensure our staff and linguists are utilizing the most effective solutions to support our clients.

Marcos’ impressive resume includes a bachelor’s degree from the Instituto José Manuel Estrada, a systems engineer/analyst degree from the Instituto Universitario Aeronáutico, and a specialization in management engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. After holding IT positions for Hewlett Packard in Argentina and Scotiabank in Chile, Marcos joined the Eriksen team in 2010.

Outside the office, Marcos is a busy dad who enjoys spending time with his daughter Emma. He keeps active by playing tennis, soccer, and paintball, and advancing his study of Aikido.

Zakiieh Bazyar

Localization Engineer

Zaki uses her tech-savvy to ensure our production team has the best technology solutions to support our clients. In her role as localization engineer, Zaki prepares files for complex projects, maintains TM databases, troubleshoots technical issues, and helps the team develop accurate timelines and budgets.

A native Farsi speaker, Zaki was born in Iran and now resides in Liverpool, UK. She earned her first master’s in telecommunication security from Iran University of Science and Technology and a second master’s in cybersecurity from Liverpool John Moores University. Zaki also holds a bachelor’s degree from Shiraz University where she studied electrical engineering and telecommunications. She is an associate member of the UK-based Institute of Translation and Interpreting and completed her memoQ Project Manager Certification. Zaki began her professional career in the IT field while also working as a freelance translator for ten years. She then gained almost three years of localization project management experience for various LSPs before joining the Eriksen team in 2023.

Outside of the workday, Zaki dedicates her time to her family. She loves exploring new places and trying out different restaurants and making plenty of time for mother-daughter activities.

Shelby Greenwood

Vendor Manager

Shelby knows how to make juggling look easy. As our vendor manager, she recruits, tests, and oversees our network of freelance translators and interpreters. She works closely with our production team to ensure that our vendor pool supports current and future needs.

After graduating from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in German and French, Shelby received a Fulbright grant for a teaching assistantship in Germany. Upon her return to the U.S., she spent four years as a vendor manager for Morningside Translations before joining the Eriksen team in 2018.

Shelby is a Brooklyn resident who spends her weekends visiting New York’s many museums or heading out of the city for a hike. She is an avid reader and is the proud owner of a cat named Olive.

Kristi Gray

Senior Account Manager

Kristi takes pride in her work and ensures that all the details turn out right. A member of the Eriksen team since 2005, she serves as the first level of support to her clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction.

With a bachelor’s degree in French and political science, Kristi held account and project management positions with LanguageWorks and Merrill Corporation before joining the Eriksen team.

A true adventurer, she sailed around the world during college, visiting countries from Brazil to Vietnam to Japan. Outside of work, Kristi enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling to sunny places with lots of water.

Courtney Weiner Kreizel

Senior Account Manager

Courtney supports Eriksen’s work with New York City and State agencies as well as clients in healthcare and education. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the translation and localization workflow for her clients, Courtney coordinates our interpreting services.

Courtney joined Eriksen in 2015, bringing with her a wealth of experience supporting hospital and healthcare clients for Pacific Interpreters and LanguageLine Solutions.

An ardent music fan and concertgoer, Courtney has seen the Dave Matthews Band over 50 times. She loves to travel, with highlights including a sailing trip through French Polynesia and visits to New Zealand and the Maldives.

Farines Ramos

Account Manager

Known around the office for her quick wit and animated smile, Farines excels at keeping her clients happy. On a daily basis, she guides her clients through the translation process, overseeing their jobs from kickoff to successful completion.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Farines is a native Spanish speaker who is conversant in English, French, and Portuguese. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree and completed the PROMISE training program for medical interpreting at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In 2012, Farines joined the Eriksen team as interpreting coordinator and advanced into her current role.

A foodie who loves sampling all varieties of food and drink, Farines enjoys cooking and learning new ways to refine her culinary skills. She is an avid traveler, who visits Portugal and the Dominican Republic regularly.

Gerome G. Guarin

Account Manager

As account manager, Gerome finds the solutions that will bring optimal value to our clients. He oversees all aspects of translation and localization projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery while making sure all client needs are satisfied.

Born in Manila, Philippines, Gerome moved to San Diego as a child and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego. He went on to attain his MBA from Ashford University before launching his professional career where he held operations and client services positions with Lionbridge and other leading communications companies. With over 13 years of experience, Gerome joined the Eriksen team in 2021.

Gerome fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a New York resident in 2013, where he enjoys exploring the city with his camera and trying new restaurants. He can converse in Tagalog and loves to travel. During his most recent adventure, Gerome hiked and kayaked his way around Iceland and the Faroe Islands.

Kelli Rubin

Client Services Manager

Kelli loves fueling growth and making an impact. As Client Services Manager, she is focused on developing new relationships, learning about her clients’ business needs, and finding solutions that will help them achieve their goals.

Born and raised in Maryland, Kelli attended Gettysburg College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and International Affairs. While in college, she spent a semester abroad studying Spanish linguistics at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. Following graduation, Kelli began her career at TransPerfect, where she grew from Account Manager into Client Services Executive, before joining the Eriksen team in 2021.

Kelli is an avid traveler who fills her free time with reading, playing tennis, and checking out live music.

Hannah Halsey

Business Development Associate

As Business Development Associate, Hannah learns about our prospective clients’ needs and crafts the right solutions to help them achieve their goals. She educates clients and prospects on Eriksen’s unique value and works closely with the production team to ensure we deliver the best possible results.

A Connecticut native, Hannah has always been interested in the role language plays in connecting people across cultures. She earned her bachelor’s in English at St. Lawrence University and studied Spanish literature while abroad in Madrid. Before joining the Eriksen team in 2022, Hannah worked as a Career Coach at JVS Boston where she helped immigrants and refugees build the skills necessary to enter the workforce.

Outside of work, Hannah can be found spending time with friends and family, reading, and traveling. She enjoys a wide range of exercise including running, tennis, dancing, Pilates, and yoga and is gearing up to become scuba diving certified.

Joseph Swan

Group Manager

A level-headed problem solver with a love of languages, Joe supervises a team of project managers responsible for translation and localization projects across a range of sectors. As group manager, Joe sets goals for his team and oversees their work to ensure quality and service standards are met.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the University of Florida, Joe taught English to middle schoolers in Lyon, France and high schoolers in rural Japan. He held vendor and project management roles with CRAFT Translation and LanguageWorks (now Ubiqus), before joining Eriksen in 2019.

Joe is an avid reader in English, French and Spanish. He enjoys watching movies from around the world and travels frequently, always excited to explore new destinations.

Bettiana Quiroga

Group Manager

An art lover and a linguist, Bettiana has been a valuable member of Eriksen’s Argentina team since 2010. As group manager, she spearheads a team of project managers dedicated to supporting museums, cultural institutions, nonprofits, and clients in the creative services industry. Bettiana oversees all aspects of the production process within her group to ensure her team delivers timely, culturally sensitive translations.

Originally from northern Argentina, Bettiana began studying English when she was only eight, and has since learned Italian and French. She graduated from the prestigious National University of Córdoba as a Certified Public Translator and completed a Master’s in Terminology Management from Barcelona’s Pompeu Fabra University.

A regular concertgoer, Bettiana loves music along with literature and photography. She travels often, throughout Argentina as well as Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, always making time to visit an art museum or check out a band.

Virginia Castelli

Group Manager

Virginia is a versatile group manager who never shies away from a challenging request. At Eriksen, she supervises a team of project managers who oversee our work for New York State. Virginia and her group plan, schedule, and execute multilingual translation projects so local agencies can provide residents with public information in their own language.

A native Spanish speaker from Rosario, Argentina, Virginia was always driven to work with languages. She began taking private English lessons at age nine and later earned her bachelor’s degree in translation from the Institute of Higher Education No. 28 “Olga Cossettini.” Virginia spent nearly 15 years working in the translation industry, both as a freelance translator and project manager, before joining the Eriksen team in 2021.

Raising three kids is where Virginia first honed her multitasking skills. In her free time, she enjoys having weekend barbeques and relaxing with family and friends. A true cat lover, Virginia is raising four rescue cats and regularly fosters rescue kittens until a permanent home can be found.

Erica Mosic

Program Manager

A language industry veteran, Erica knows that the key to success is planning, communicating, and staying organized. A member of the team since 2021, Erica oversees language quality assurance for an educational technology company. Day to day, she oversees all aspects of the client’s account, which includes managing the linguistic teams, developing and expanding linguistic assets, and ensuring all quality assurance procedures are followed.

Originally from Rosario, Argentina, Erica earned her bachelor’s degree in translation from the Institute of Higher Education No. 28 “Olga Cossettini.” After college she spent six years living in Zagreb, Croatia before moving to Germany and her current home in Schwäbisch Hall, Baden-Württemberg. Erica has extensive industry experience, having spent nine years as a lead linguist at Ocean Translations and five years as a project manager at Dotsub, overseeing the subtitling and translation of online videos. She just completed her Professional Technical Communicator certification and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Technical Communication and Localization (TCLoc) at the University of Strasbourg.

Erica is a native Spanish speaker who learned English and Croatian and is now studying German. In her free time, she is an avid gamer who loves digging into the literature surrounding that genre. She enjoys practicing yoga, watching football (American soccer), reading mysteries, and immersing herself in a good documentary or crime drama on Netflix.

Rodrigo Resuche

Senior Project Manager

No challenge seems too large for Rodrigo to handle. With an eye for detail and a wealth of technical know-how, he oversees all phases of the translation and localization process for clients in the finance and insurance industries.

A certified translator with a degree from the National University of Córdoba, Rodrigo lives and works in Argentina. He first joined Eriksen in 2006 as a project coordinator, and has moved up the ranks to his current position of Senior Project Manager.

When Rodrigo isn’t managing projects for our clients, he can be found spending time with his two young children, Lucas and Vicky. He’s an avid music fan, and even as a busy dad, he’s always up for a challenging mountain bike ride.

Bradley Marcus

Senior Project Manager

A language aficionado with an eye for detail, Bradley knows that proper planning and process make all the difference. As Senior Project Manager, he initiates, plans, and manages translation and localization projects to successful completion. Bradley works across a wide range of project types, assembling teams and keeping projects on track while ensuring flawless execution.

Originally from central Massachusetts, Bradley spent his college years studying the Chinese language, earning his bachelor’s from George Washington University and master’s in Chinese language and literature from Columbia. After moving to New York for grad school, Bradley remained in the city when it was time to launch his career in language services. He spent six years managing client accounts for Ubiqus before joining the Eriksen team in 2021.

In addition to his extensive education in the Chinese language, Bradley studied both Spanish and Latin, and spent a year teaching ESL in Beijing. An avid traveler who has explored numerous countries across Asia and Europe, Bradley enjoys foreign movies, reading, and visiting New York’s many restaurants and museums.

Annika Wendt

Project Manager

Annika is our in-house Swede. After attending college in Sweden and the U.K., she moved to the U.S. in 1998 and joined Eriksen as an intern, working her way up to the role of project manager. She left in 2005 for other pursuits, before rejoining the Eriksen team in 2015.

Today, Annika supports translation and localization projects by preparing files, communicating with vendors, and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

In addition to her native Swedish, Annika understands Danish and Norwegian and speaks some German and Spanish. Her daughter, Sofia, is fluent in Swedish as well, and the family spends a few weeks each year visiting Sweden.

Inga Simane

Project Manager

Inga brings almost 10 years of language industry experience to her role as project manager. A member of the Eriksen team since 2021, Inga ensures all phases of translation and localization projects are managed to the highest standards, and delivered on time and within budget.

Born and raised in Valmiera, Latvia, Inga is a native Latvian speaker, who is proficient in English, Russian, and German. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Latvia and her diploma of higher professional education in technical translations from Riga Technical University. Inga put her language skills to use translating Russian movies into Latvian and before entering the language services industry as a project manager.

A fitness and wellness aficionado, Inga has a personal trainer certification and dabbles in reiki. She volunteers with the Latvian society in Philadelphia, and enjoys hiking, trips to the beach, and spoiling her mini dachshund, Norman.

Florencia Barrios

Project Manager

Florencia has always been a take-charge kind of girl, which makes her role as project manager the perfect fit. On a daily basis, Flor coordinates all aspects of translation and localization projects by preparing files, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring on-time deliverables.

A native Spanish speaker who resides in Rosario, Argentina, Flor earned her degree in English-Spanish translation from the Instituto de Educación Superior N.° 28 “Olga Cossettini.” After seven years working as a recruiter and project manager for RWS Moravia, Flor brought her expertise to the Eriksen team in 2021.

As a teenager, Flor excelled at competitive roller figure skating, winning national medals in Argentina. These days, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her dog Murphy.

Daniela Marchetti

Project Manager

Part of Eriksen’s Cordoba, Argentina team, Daniela brings versatility and a passion for languages to her role as project manager. She helps her clients bridge communication barriers by overseeing translation and localization projects from kickoff to completion.

A native Spanish speaker, Daniela graduated with degrees in English-Spanish translation and journalism from the National University of Córdoba. She returned to complete a one-year course in localization of multimedia content at the same school. Daniela held positions in service management and IT in both Argentina and Italy before joining the language industry in 2019.

In addition to Spanish, Daniela speaks English, has a working knowledge of Italian, and adores Italian culture and cuisine. An avid traveler, Daniela loves meeting people from diverse cultures and trying culinary specialties from around the world. Always eager for new discoveries, she enjoys walking around unfamiliar cities and seeking out simple pleasures such as an espresso with a sweet pastry.

Shady Sallam

Project Manager

Shady is a solutions-oriented project manager who coordinates translation projects from initiation to successful delivery. In his role, he selects and manages project teams, oversees budgets and timelines, and ensures that we always deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Shady is a native Arabic speaker from Cairo, Egypt who earned his legal degree from Cairo University. After a few years working in marketing and customer service, Shady found his calling in the language industry. He learned the ropes at SEAtongue, where he spent four years as a project manager before joining the Eriksen team in 2021.

Shady is an amateur cyclist who spends his weekends taking long bike rides and preparing for road races. A huge Marvel fan, Shady enjoys watching Netflix and spending time with his family.

Daniel Rondón

Project Manager

With a background in language, translation, and literature, Daniel brings linguistic expertise and industry experience to his role as project manager. On a daily basis, Daniel manages translation and localization projects by coordinating with translators, editors, and technical resources to ensure their work stays on schedule and adheres to quality standards.

Originally from Venezuela, Daniel attended the University of Los Andes where he earned a degree in French/Spanish translation and French linguistics and literary research. He then worked as a teacher and translator before entering the language services industry and moving to Buenos Aires. After spending 10 years as a project manager for leading translation companies, Daniel joined Eriksen in 2022. He just completed his master’s degree in technical communication and localization from Strasbourg University.

In addition to his native Spanish, Daniel is fluent in English and French, studied German and Russian in school, and grew up speaking Arabic with his grandparents. Along with his linguistic dexterity, Daniel is skilled in the culinary arts, having studied pastry and wine. Now that his master’s degree is complete, Daniel is indulging in his free time by reading, travelling, enjoying dinners with friends, and thinking of new studies to pursue.

Andrea Poblete

Project Manager

A native Spanish speaker, Andrea manages translation projects for our clients in the museum and creative sector. She serves as a link between linguists and clients, coordinating all projects according to Eriksen’s quality standards and turnaround time.

Originally from western Argentina, Andrea now lives and works in Buenos Aires. After earning her scientific and literary translation degree from the Universidad del Salvador, she began working as a translator before returning for a second degree in legal translation. Following graduation, Andrea worked as a senior project manager for a major language services company before joining the Eriksen team in 2022.

Andrea loves ecotourism, hiking, and exploring nature, and she has made it her goal to visit all the national parks in Argentina. Always active, Andrea likes to swim, cook for friends, visit museums, and has recently started taking painting classes.

Etel Giangrande

Project Manager

Etel is a versatile project manager and linguist. At Eriksen, she manages translation projects for New York City and State agencies, helping local residents access public information in their own language.

Originally from Italy, Etel moved to Seville, Spain as a student, and decided to make the country her home. She holds a master’s in international communication and translation and interpreting from Seville’s Universidad Pablo de Olavide. Etel also earned a degree in linguistic and cultural mediation from the Universitá per Stranieri di Siena, in Italy. Following a nearly ten-year stint as a part-time freelance and then in-house translator, Etel moved into project management supporting a European LSP. After nearly two years learning the ropes, she joined the Eriksen team in 2023.

Etel is a native Italian speaker, who is also proficient in English and Spanish. An accomplished violinist, Etel once attended a music conservatory to refine her skills. These days, she likes to read, cook, surf, and travel around Europe and the world.

Natalia Campero

Project Manager

Natalia is a native Spanish speaker from Salta, in Northern Argentina. In her role as project manager, she facilitates translation projects for our clients in the arts and culture and nonprofit sectors. Natalia manages the project team, makes sure each project adheres to schedule and budget, and ensures that everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

After earning her degree in technical translation from the Catholic University of Salta, she went back to complete her bachelor’s and become a Certified Public Translator. Natalia spent almost ten years in sales before entering the language industry, where she built her project management experience working for several LSPs before joining Eriksen in 2023.

Natalia’s free time is filled with the endless pursuit of knowledge and personal growth. She immerses herself in yoga and is expanding her skills in healing and wellness.

Yamila Pomi

Project Manager

As Project Manager, Yamila is dedicated to supporting our New York State agency clients. She oversees the translation process, planning, scheduling, and executing multilingual projects so local agencies can ensure New Yorkers receive the language access they need.

A resident of Rosario, Argentina, Yamila is a native Spanish speaker with a strong command of Italian. Her academic journey began at the Institute of Higher Education No. 28 “Olga Cossettini,” where she obtained degrees in translation and interpretation, followed by postgraduate studies at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario. After several years as a translator, Yamila spent 12 years honing her project management skills with numerous LSPs before joining the Eriksen team in 2023. Currently, she is completing a PMP training course at the Project Management Institute.

Outside the workday, Yamila loves to stay active. She is an avid runner who enjoys surfing trips to the beach. Yamila loves learning new languages and practicing her interpreting skills.

Silvia Cardoso

Spanish Quality Manager

Silvia is Eriksen’s Spanish-language expert. She performs translation, editing, proofreading, and cultural consulting for Spanish projects, ensuring they meet all the requirements for grammar and structure while maintaining the appropriate stylistic flavor.

A native Spanish speaker from Bogotá, Colombia, Silvia earned her bachelor’s degree in literature from Universidad de los Andes. She moved to the U.S. in 2000 and worked as a Spanish teacher in California and as an editor and quality manager at TransPerfect Translations before joining the Eriksen team in 2004.

Silvia loves to read, particularly fiction and poetry. She keeps the creative fires burning by writing fiction and attending a Spanish-language writers’ workshop.

Juan Pablo D’Aloisio

Multilingual QA Manager

With his impeccable eye for detail, Juan Pablo is a critical member of the Eriksen production team. In his role as Multilingual QA Manager, Juan Pablo performs linguistic and post-layout proofreading of translated materials. He works across a variety of file types, making sure all translations properly adhere to client specifications, translation memories, glossaries, and style guides.

Born and raised in Rosario, Argentina, Juan Pablo is a native Spanish speaker who is well-versed in graphic design and typesetting. He earned a degree in technical graphic design from the Escuela Provincial de Artes Visuales “General Manuel Belgrano,” followed by a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and visual communication from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Juan Pablo began his career working as a desktop publishing specialist with Moravia for four years before joining Eriksen in 2021.

Juan Pablo is studying trapeze, working to refine his aerial acrobatics skills. He has been kayaking since he was a child and loves spending a day paddling on the river and exploring the wetlands surrounding Rosario. Juan Pablo enjoys playing football (American soccer), practicing his saxophone, and spoiling his dog Frida.

Caio Gomes

Project Coordinator

As Project Coordinator, Caio brings a wealth of linguistic talent to our team. A resident of Santos, Brazil, Caio is a native Portuguese speaker who is proficient in French, English, Spanish, and Italian. Joining Eriksen as an intern in January 2023, Caio learned the ropes supporting client services and production before his promotion to Project Coordinator in 2024.

Caio began his academic journey at Adeplhi University in Long Island, achieving a BA in International Studies with a French concentration and a French/English translation certificate. Currently, he is pursuing a master’s degree in translation and interpreting at NYU.

Outside the office, Caio is an avid traveler, seizing every opportunity to explore new destinations. Living in the coastal city of Santos, he enjoys staying active, especially by walking or running on the beach. Caio’s bustling household includes four dogs and a cat.

Faustine Lim

Marketing Coordinator

Faustine is an enthusiastic marketer driven by a desire to hone her skills and reach people around the world through marketing and communications. At Eriksen, she works closely with the sales and marketing teams to help build a strong network of prospects that will lead to viable client relationships.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Faustine grew up speaking Bikol and Tagalog. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and is now pursuing a business management degree from the University of Victoria, Canada. Faustine began her professional career supporting lead generation and marketing operations for global companies before joining the Eriksen team in 2021.

Faustine is an avid traveler who hopes to one day get her pilot’s license. She also dreams of founding a charity to help children who do not have access to education and are suffering from malnutrition.

Elisa Martino

Accounting Assistant

Since joining Eriksen in 2021, Elisa has quickly become an invaluable member of the accounting team, handling billing and collections and working closely with the controller to perform a variety of administrative and accounting functions.

Elisa is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience handling bookkeeping and accounting work for companies in the service industry. With experience in all facets of bookkeeping, Elisa possesses a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and QuickBooks expertise.

Elisa spent most of her life in Long Island until making the move to Jupiter, Florida in 2019. In her free time, Elisa has taken up gardening, which she can do year-round in the warm Florida weather. She likes spending time at the beach, listening to country music, and staying in shape with speed walking.

ChunJu Wang

Trainee

A native Chinese speaker from Taipei, Taiwan, ChunJu has always been fascinated by the way language impacts culture and informs people’s points of view. ChunJu obtained her bachelor’s degree in foreign languages and literature from Taiwan’s National Tsing Hua University. After moving to New York in 2018, she continued her education at NYU, where she earned a master’s degree in translation.

During her final year in the master’s program, ChunJu joined the Eriksen team as an intern and was promoted into the role of project coordinator following graduation. ChunJu is now a trainee, building her proficiency in project coordination while preparing for a role in project management.

ChunJu loves travel, and had the opportunity to visit many countries during her three-year stint as a flight attendant. She is a skilled pianist who has been playing since age six, and is adept in the art of ballroom dancing.

As a standard-bearer of exemplary service, Solhästen epitomizes the tradition and spirit of Eriksen. Our logo was adapted from a Bronze Age rock carving discovered on the west coast of Sweden.
