Eriksen exhibited at the 2022 American Public Gardens Association Conference, held June 20-24 in Portland, Oregon. The event provided the opportunity for Director of Sales Will Lach to speak with garden professionals about the ways translation can help make these spaces inclusive and accessible to all visitors.

Will Lach exhibited at the 2022 AAM Annual Meeting & Museum Expo, held May 19-22 in Boston. The gathering provided Will the opportunity to meet with museums from around the world to discuss the ways language services can make institutions accessible to a wide array of visitors.

Will Lach exhibited at the 2022 Engage for Good Conference, held May 17-19 in Atlanta. The event brought together business and nonprofit social impact leaders for workshops and networking.

Vigdis Eriksen attended the 2022 Women Presidents Organization (WPO) Annual Conference, held May 4-6 in Montréal, Canada. The premier gathering of women who lead multi-million-dollar businesses, this year’s 25-year anniversary conference honored the values that make female entrepreneurs unique: curiosity, tenacity, and community.

Eriksen has been ranked 110th in the Slator 2022 Language Service Provider Index (LSPI), placing the company in the “Challenger” category. The LSPI is an annual index of the world’s 300 largest translation, localization, interpreting, and language technology companies, ranking participants in order of revenue.

On November 10, Eriksen’s Vendor Manager Shelby Greenwood presented at the New York Circle of Translators’ November meeting on the topic of language professionals in New York City. Language access representatives from the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs and several LSPs shared their vision and discussed working environments that translators and interpreters will face in the coming years.

October 22, 2021 marks Eriksen Translations’ 35th anniversary! What started as a small team working out of a Brooklyn artist’s loft has grown into a thriving company with linguists around the world supporting more than 100 languages. Read the press release here.

From September 20-24, Eriksen exhibited at the 2021 virtual Association of Zoos and Aquariums Annual Conference. 1000+ attendees joined virtually to discuss ways to fulfill the AZA mission of advancing animal welfare, public engagement, and the conservation of wildlife.

On September 14, Will Lach and Vigdis Eriksen attended the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Fall Gala with artist Sourabh Gupta and Peter Byrnes, CEO of Fundraise Up. We’re proud to have the Brooklyn Botanic Garden as a client and thank the staff for hosting a beautiful event!

From July 7-August 16, Will Lach exhibited at the 2021 National Museum Publishing Seminar. This virtual event drew a diverse community of publishing professionals working in museum settings for a seven-week series of workshops and discussions focused on the crucial and changing role of the museum.
