Will Lach attended the National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing & Media, held July 19-21 in Atlanta. This conference brought together academics, public health researchers, and practitioners from federal and state government to advance the field of health communication, marketing, and media.

The American Public Gardens Association Conference, held June 6-8 in Fort Worth, brought together garden professionals from around the world. Will Lach was in the exhibit hall discussing the ways translation can make botanic gardens, arboreta, zoos, and museums welcoming and accessible to diverse visitors.

Will Lach exhibited at the 2023 AAM Annual Meeting & Museum Expo, held May 19-22 in Denver. The focus of this year’s gathering, “Social & Community Impact,” created the perfect setting to discuss the ways language services can help institutions deepen their engagement with local communities.

Held April 26-28, the Association of Children’s Museums’ 2023 InterActivity Conference was the largest gathering of children’s museum professionals in the world. Will Lach was in New Orleans exhibiting at this year’s event, discussing the many ways language services can help museums become more inclusive and accessible.

We are excited to announce that we have been awarded a five-year translation services contract by the New York State Office of General Services. As an approved vendor under contract #23253-Language Services, Eriksen will provide written translation and desktop publishing services to help support New Yorkers with limited English proficiency. Members of the Eriksen Senior Leadership Team attended the Inc. 5000 Conference and Gala on October 19-21 in Phoenix. This prestigious event celebrates entrepreneurship by honoring the companies that have been included on the 2022 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Companies.

On October 19-22, Will Lach joined publishing industry professionals from around the world at the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse). This year’s theme, “Translate. Transfer. Transform.,” explored the importance of translating ideas, themes, and texts into other languages, media, and contexts.

Vigdis Eriksen attended the 2022 ATA Conference, held October 12-15 in Los Angeles. The event brought together language professionals from over 50 countries for educational seminars and networking opportunities.

On September 12-15, Will Lach exhibited at the annual conference of the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) in Pittsburgh. The event brought together leaders in science and technology centers and allied organizations from across North America and around the world, to increase understanding of and engagement with science and technology among all people.
