Vigdis Eriksen attended the 2022 Women Presidents Organization (WPO) Annual Conference, held May 4-6 in Montréal, Canada. The premier gathering of women who lead multi-million-dollar businesses, this year’s 25-year anniversary conference honored the values that make female entrepreneurs unique: curiosity, tenacity, and community.
Eriksen has been ranked 110th in the Slator 2022 Language Service Provider Index (LSPI), placing the company in the “Challenger” category. The LSPI is an annual index of the world’s 300 largest translation, localization, interpreting, and language technology companies, ranking participants in order of revenue.
On November 10, Eriksen’s Vendor Manager Shelby Greenwood presented at the New York Circle of Translators’ November meeting on the topic of language professionals in New York City. Language access representatives from the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs and several LSPs shared their vision and discussed working environments that translators and interpreters will face in the coming years.
