Eriksen Translations Named to the 2022 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Companies
Brooklyn, New York, August 16, 2022 – Eriksen Translations Inc., a leading provider of best-in-class translation and localization services, is proud to announce its inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent businesses.
Eriksen Translations is a Language Service Provider (LSP) based in Brooklyn, NY, with a footprint that extends throughout North America and beyond. Working in more than 100 languages, Eriksen sustains long-term relationships with major companies in finance, insurance, law, health care, and education, as well as nonprofits, NGOs, New York City and State agencies, and leading museums and cultural institutions. In July 2022, independent market research firm CSA Research named Eriksen one of the top 100 LSPs in the world and top 30 LSPs in North America.
As the language service industry continues to undergo a digital transformation, the core driver of Eriksen’s growth remains high-quality, human translation. The heart and soul of the company remain committed to a passion for language and a high-touch approach to customer service.
“I am thrilled to be recognized by Inc. as one of the 5000 fastest-growing companies. Eriksen Translations is rooted in a love of language and a drive to help people of all backgrounds communicate,” states Vigdis Eriksen, Founder & CEO. “It’s an honor to work with people who share my vision. I attribute our growth to my amazing team – the most talented linguists in the industry and a driven staff that is laser focused on providing our clients with the best possible service.”

Methodology
Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places. The top 500 companies on the Inc. 5000 are featured in Inc. magazine’s September issue. The entire Inc. 5000 can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000.
