Virginia is a versatile project manager who never shies away from a tight deadline or a challenging request. At Eriksen, she manages translation projects for New York City and State agencies, helping local residents access public information in their own language. On a daily basis, Virginia keeps projects on schedule and within scope and budget, ensuring all deliveries meet stringent quality standards.
A native Spanish speaker from Rosario, Argentina, Virginia was always driven to work with languages. She began taking private English lessons at age nine and later earned her bachelor’s degree in translation from the Institute of Higher Education No. 28 “Olga Cossettini.” Virginia spent nearly 15 years working in the translation industry, both as a freelance translator and project manager, before joining the Eriksen team in 2021.
Raising three kids is where Virginia first honed her multitasking skills. In her free time, she enjoys having weekend barbeques and relaxing with family and friends. A true cat lover, Virginia is raising four rescue cats and regularly fosters rescue kittens until a permanent home can be found.
