Etel is a versatile project manager and linguist. At Eriksen, she manages translation projects for New York City and State agencies, helping local residents access public information in their own language.

Originally from Italy, Etel moved to Seville, Spain as a student, and decided to make the country her home. She holds a master’s in international communication and translation and interpreting from Seville’s Universidad Pablo de Olavide. Etel also earned a degree in linguistic and cultural mediation from the Universitá per Stranieri di Siena, in Italy. Following a nearly ten-year stint as a part-time freelance and then in-house translator, Etel moved into project management supporting a European LSP. After nearly two years learning the ropes, she joined the Eriksen team in 2023.

Etel is a native Italian speaker, who is also proficient in English and Spanish. An accomplished violinist, Etel once attended a music conservatory to refine her skills. These days, she likes to read, cook, surf, and travel around Europe and the world.
