Álvaro brings a decade of language industry experience to his role as project manager. At Eriksen, he supports our New York State clients, helping residents access public information in their own language. On a daily basis, Álvaro manages projects from start to finish, keeping work on schedule and within scope and budget, while adhering to stringent quality standards.

Originally from Venezuela, Álvaro earned his bachelor’s degree in translation and interpreting (Spanish-English-German) from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. After college, he spent a year in Ecuador volunteering as an English teacher for underprivileged children before settling in Buenos Aires. Álvaro began his localization career performing quality assurance on video games and then honed his project management skills with various companies before joining the Eriksen team in 2024.

Álvaro is a native Spanish speaker who is proficient in both German and English. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming and playing guitar. He is dedicated to continuous learning, challenging himself with ongoing coursework related to AI, project engineering, and CAT tools.
