A language industry veteran, Erica knows that the key to success is planning, communicating, and staying organized. A member of the team since 2021, Erica oversees language quality assurance for an educational technology company. Day to day, she oversees all aspects of the client’s account, which includes managing the linguistic teams, developing and expanding linguistic assets, and ensuring all quality assurance procedures are followed.

Originally from Rosario, Argentina, Erica earned her bachelor’s degree in translation from the Institute of Higher Education No. 28 “Olga Cossettini.” After college she spent six years living in Zagreb, Croatia before moving to Germany and her current home in Schwäbisch Hall, Baden-Württemberg. Erica has extensive industry experience, having spent nine years as a lead linguist at Ocean Translations and five years as a project manager at Dotsub, overseeing the subtitling and translation of online videos. She just completed her Professional Technical Communicator certification and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Technical Communication and Localization (TCLoc) at the University of Strasbourg.

Erica is a native Spanish speaker who learned English and Croatian and is now studying German. In her free time, she is an avid gamer who loves digging into the literature surrounding that genre. She enjoys practicing yoga, watching football (American soccer), reading mysteries, and immersing herself in a good documentary or crime drama on Netflix.
