We are pleased to announce that Founder & CEO Vigdis Eriksen has been named to the Schneps Media 2023 Brooklyn Power List. The award, presented at a gala on December 5 at El Caribe Country Club, celebrates Brooklyn’s most influential figures, underscoring their commitment, impact, and influence in the community.

Will Lach exhibited at the 2023 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo, the premier global event for the attractions industry. Held November 14-17 in Orlando, the event brought together more than 35,000 professionals from around the globe, representing amusement parks, theme parks, attractions, water parks, resorts, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, and more.

The annual Sunhorse Awards recognize those team members who push the envelope, foster collaboration, and exhibit unwavering commitment to excellence. Congratulations to our 2023 winners: Zakiieh Bazyar—Innovator of the Year, Shady Sallam—Team Player of the Year, Joseph Swan—Rosetta Stone Award, and Silvia Cardoso—Longevity Award.

Will Lach exhibited at the annual conference of the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC), held October 7-10 in Charlotte. One of the premier annual gatherings for science-engagement professionals, the event brought together leaders in the field to discuss strategies for increasing engagement with science and technology centers and museums.

Will Lach and Kevin Hudson spoke at the Donor Experience Summit on September 21, where they shared their perspective and insights on multilingual communication with more than 100 nonprofit leaders.

Hannah Halsey, Vigdis Eriksen, and Jennifer Murphy attended the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBEC) Metro New York Partner Reception and Annual Breakthrough Breakfast, held September 15-16. The events brought together WBEC Corporate Partners, Supplier Diversity Teams, and WBEs to network and celebrate the past year’s achievements.

Held September 20-24, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Conference was the largest, most comprehensive zoo and aquarium professionals’ event in the country. Will Lach was in Columbus exhibiting at this year’s event, discussing the ways translation can help zoos and aquariums become more inclusive and accessible.

From August 27-29, Will Lach exhibited at the 2023 National Museum Publishing Seminar in Chicago. The event brought together publishing professionals from museums and cultural institutions to discuss key challenges and opportunities in the industry.
